About The Position

Grande Cheese is hiring a Maintenance Instrumentation Specialist to support our Cheese and Whey operations at the Juda facility. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert, providing support to Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance Associates on Control, Information and Electrical systems. You'll also play a key role in delivering hands-on support, training, and mentorship -driving operational excellence across the entire Enterprise. Requirements

  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in an Electrical or other related technical field required. An equivalent level of experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related Maintenance experience required.
  • Advanced experience and comprehensive knowledge of: PLC programming HMI programming AC Drive Fundamentals (configuration, programming, troubleshooting, Servo Drives) Instrumentation Knowledge (calibration & configuration, troubleshooting, PID control loop tuning) Industrial Wiring Knowledge (conduits, 480v systems, distribution, MCC, MCP, Ethernet networks, Arc Flash, control panels) Industrial Computer Knowledge (Ethernet, network switches) Industrial Network Knowledge (Data highway, Ethernet, Controlnet, Devicenet, serial communication) Computer Programming Knowledge (Microsoft VBA, Basic) Industrial Machine Knowledge (Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Packaging) Computer Programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Rockwell, AutoCad)
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Advanced math and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced electrical concepts (demonstrated knowledge of control wiring, programming and operation of various control panels, transducers, machines, etc.).
  • Intermediate mechanical knowledge (machine guarding, drive belt installation & alignment, seal replacements, etc.).
  • Advanced pneumatic & hydraulic knowledge (replace and repair; check valves; filter assembly, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC.
