About The Position

In office position. The Automation, Instrumentation Specialist will provide support and direction for the Instrumentation Engineering aspect of ICM projects.

Requirements

5+ years Instrumentation experience required
Possess excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office products
Possess a working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
Strong technical and science math skills
Demonstrates attention to detail
Possess fluent verbal and written skills in the English language

Nice To Haves

ISA CCST Certification is an advantage
Industrial plant experience preferred
Possessing working knowledge of AUTOCAD is an advantage
Knowledge and experience in the Ethanol industry is an advantage

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operation to the ICM Instrumentation Engineering Team.
Work with ICM clients, contractors, and internal customers to produce the Automation and Instrumentation documents and drawings. Monitor and ensure that efforts are consistent with ICM goals and objectives.
Provide engineering support to ICM clients, contractors and field personnel on all aspects of the Automation and Instrumentation documentation.
Assist field personnel with technical issues when they arise.
Lead and support the development of specifications inclusive of instrumentation equipment and the detail control designs of ICM projects.
Develop instrument take-off based on project P&ID’s.
Prepare instrument data sheets and loop diagrams.
Optimize instrument systems ensuring minimal cost and compliance with the required performance.
Support use of Socketworx and PROCORE systems.
Solicit and review vendor quotes based upon instrumentation specifications for all projects.
Prepare proposals and compile budgets for ICM Instrumentation projects.
Work with vendors and other ICM departments to procure materials and equipment.
Provide for long-term development of the Instrumentation Engineering Team and its personnel.
