Maintenance & Information Specialist - Junior

CGIQuantico, VA
Onsite

About The Position

The Junior Maintenance Functional SME & Information Specialist serves as the critical translator between raw program data outputs and the Marine Corps maintenance community. This program is not just about maintaining the program system — it's about putting the data into terms that maintainers can use to act on. This individual ensures that what is being presented in dashboards and visualizations is actually what Marine maintainers expect to see and can act upon in the motor pool. Working alongside the Data Visualization Developer and under the mentorship of the Sr Maintenance Functional SME, this role combines hands-on maintenance knowledge with information management skills to ensure the program data products speak the language of the Marines who use them. This is the DevOps equivalent of having an operator working with the developer — the person who ensures the end product serves the warfighter. This position is located in Quantico, VA.
