About The Position

The Maintenance II role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and machinery to support manufacturing, packaging, and distribution operations. The individual will diagnose problems and recommend solutions. Employees are also expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities, including immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices, and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and supporting safety committee activities.

Requirements

Associate Degree, Military, or Civilian Equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
Two to five years related experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Flexible, able to quickly shift priorities as needed.
Able to work from verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Uses knowledge and experience to resolve complex operating problems in a timely manner; reports other problems to Supervisor.
Repair various electrical, vacuum, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Perform mechanical calibrations and alignments.
Assemble and test motor-control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other machinery related equipment.
Perform general and preventative maintenance multiple production systems in and around the facility.
Apply related knowledge to test and/or modify operational machinery and control equipment.
Accurately complete daily maintenance reports.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and conserve resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
Follow safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
