About The Position

Your Role on Our Team Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings. Repair Injection molding machines, robots, fixtures, and other auxiliary equipment related to the injection molding process. Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Identify and requisition needed replacement parts and supplies. Work with other mechanics, production personnel, engineers and outside vendors and/or consultants as necessary. Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance. Complete repairs timely and safely. Report repairs at end of shift. Complete required paperwork, documenting parts and material usage. Understand and follow plant safety practices and safe machine operation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot automation PLC controls.
  • Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, welders, and other shop equipment.
  • General knowledge of safe working practices including Lock-Out/Tag Out.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interpret complex situations and execute actions and plans.
  • Excellent project management skills - ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a cross functional organization.
