About The Position

NHC is looking for a dependable Maintenance & Housekeeping Assistant to join our
team! This full-time position plays an important role in keeping our healthcare
facility clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents, visitors, and staff.

This position combines facility maintenance and environmental services duties,
making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and variety in their day.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services preferred
• High school diploma or technical training preferred
• Ability to read basic technical manuals
• Knowledge of safety regulations and facility standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• HVAC experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and housekeeping throughout the facility
• Assist with building maintenance and minor repairs
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
• Help with grounds care including parking lots, walkways, and outdoor areas
• Keep records of work performed
• Work with other departments to avoid interrupting resident care
• Able to be on call when required
