About The Position

This position will maintain the assigned equipment throughout the company owned farms and is responsible for the quality of the equipment operation. External Requirement: 6 month work history or participant of any industrial maintenance educational program. maintenance experience preferred.

Requirements

Ability to efficiently use hand tools and trades type tools, to provide maintenance of all farm equipment
Ability to operate farm equipment safely and effectively
Ability to develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program and Parts Inventory Plan
Ability to use time wisely while working independently
Willingness to function as part of a team and work toward team goals
Excellent observation skills and attention to detail, eager to learn new ideas
Willingness to work overtime and be called into work for emergency situations as required
6 month work history or participant of any industrial maintenance educational program

Nice To Haves

Welding skills preferred
maintenance experience preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for all repairs to motors (electric/gas/diesel) and electrical equipment
Maintain and operate all farm equipment
Maintain all motors and engines throughout the farm
Develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program
Develop and maintain a detailed Parts Inventory Plan
Assist in maintaining the farm grounds
Adhere to all Animal Welfare Standards and biosecurity program regulations
Learn essential farm animal husbandry practices
Other duties as assigned; inclusive of all farm work responsibilities, cooperating with others as needed to complete necessary tasks
