About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Requirements

Minimum of six months of work experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance or equivalent training.
Valid driver's license .
Basic computer skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.

Nice To Haves

Agricultural milling maintenance experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble equipment.
Housekeeping Responsibilities.
Operate and maintain mobile equipment} pneumatic, and circuit components.
Perform welding on ferrous materials using oxy-fuel welding equipment, oxygen cutting, and plasma cutting.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Perform physical tasks including climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times weekly.
Work in varying environmental conditions (hot and cold).
Work overtime and weekends as required.
Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
Work at heights safely.
