About The Position

The Maintenance Generalist MG04 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson Foods' policies and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum of six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, or equivalent training.
Valid driver's license.
Basic computer skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
Ability to work at Heights.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Nice To Haves

Experience in agriculture miffing maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble equipment, pumps, and hydraulics.
Housekeeping Responsibilities.
Operate and maintain mobile equipment including skid steer and other loader classifications.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
Work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold.
Work overtime and weekends as needed.
Follow instructions and communicate effectively
Work at heights safely.
