About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain a company License
Must be able to understand and agree to follow safety Rule (Ie. Lockout/Tagout).
Must Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and Tyson Rules, regulations, Standards, and policy.
Must be able to work in all-weather/ climate, conditions from very cold to very hot.
Must be able to work in a dusty environment
Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
Weekends/holidays are expected depending on company needs.
Standing, Walking, Bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, push, pulling, stooping, squatting, and reaching are required in all areas.
Lifting 40+ pounds are required in all areas
Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance
This position will operate fork lifts as well as other duties.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Must have 1 year of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application.
180 days wait period from last termination date, 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
