About The Position

Job Details: Starting Pay: $19.65/hr Shift Hours: Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm. Weekends and Holidays are expected depending on company needs. 1. Ability to read and write in order to receive and document orders 2. Ability to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping. 3. Ability to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations. 4. Ability to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them. 5. Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day 6. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. 7. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling 8. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures 9. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species 10. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas 11. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required 12. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols 13. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance 14. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day. 15. Complete all other tasks assigned by management. This position will operate forklifts as well as other duties. Special Skills: 1. Basic Math Skills 2. Communication Skills 3. Basic mechanical Skills 4. Basic computer skill 5. Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification 6. Ability to certify as a Weigh Master 7. Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability be clean shaven) 8. Valid Class D License where applicable Requirements: Clerical experience and/or dispatch experience preferred. Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred. High School Degree or equivalent. • Team member must be willing to work in an outside environment that will fluctuate according to the conditions outside at the time; cold, warm, dusty, and/or damp environment with a high concentration of allergens present in a poultry house. Must pass a background check. Abide by company biosecurity guidelines including an agreement to avoid owning and being around any avian species. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
