This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday. Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor. Position requires pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet. Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team. Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system. Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks. Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants.
