About The Position

Maintenance Foreman – Sandow Water Treatment Plant Join a team that keeps critical water treatment systems running safely and efficiently. EPCOR is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Foreman to support our Sandow Water Treatment Plant near Lexington, TX. In this leadership role, you’ll guide maintenance activities, support system reliability, and help ensure high‑quality water service for the community. What You’ll Do Maintain pumps, piping, tanks, valves, switches, diesel generators, and other equipment across groundwater and surface water treatment facilities. Work closely with the supervisor to schedule shifts and assign daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for maintenance staff. Perform hands‑on maintenance on chlorination equipment, pump control valves, pressure control valves, air compressors, vacuum pumps, and auxiliary systems. Adjust plant systems to meet operational demands; replace pump packing, seals, and repair hydrostatic drives. Plan and perform preventative maintenance across all plant equipment in coordination with the maintenance supervisor. Maintain and troubleshoot advanced treatment equipment including Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, and Cold Lime Softening systems. Provide field guidance to employees while also completing accurate office documentation of maintenance activities. Install and repair water lines, valves, and pump station components. Repair chlorinating and metering equipment. Perform construction and fabrication work as needed at job sites. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work records, and cost tracking using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Operate equipment such as forklifts, trenchers, cranes, bucket lifts, vac‑equipment, and dump trucks. Manage spare parts inventory for plant and auxiliary equipment. What You Bring Minimum of five years of related experience in field maintenance, water/wastewater plant maintenance, or mechanical maintenance. Minimum of two years of experience in a lead or supervisory role. Hands‑on experience repairing pumps, compressors, engines, and related mechanical systems. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record. Backflow certification preferred; required within 1 year of hire. Proficiency with CMMS platforms, including creating, tracking, and closing work orders. Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
