The Job Develop and execute long-term maintenance and asset reliability strategies across multiple business units, including reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and root cause analysis (RCA) to maximize equipment uptime and minimize unplanned downtime. Lead and mentor team, fostering a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. Oversee the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate asset tracking, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and effective staff training. Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to monitor maintenance KPIs, asset health, and reliability metrics, driving informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Manage large-scale maintenance budgets, capital projects, and resource allocation. Lead change management efforts for new maintenance technologies and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure successful adoption and integration. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements. Coordinate scheduling of internal and external maintenance work with plant leaders to minimize downtime. Provide a maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance of the equipment and plant facilities. Lead the maintenance team to apply the best technical practices and establish standard policies and procedures. Ensure that the maintenance associates operate in accordance with any health, safety, environmental policies, and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of any component of team. Implement and manage continuous improvement and current maintenance principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes. Responsible for the maintenance scheduling plan to ensure the timely completion of assignments. Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring it is carried out on time and with planned contingencies for outstanding activities. Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve project delivering, implement improvement plans to reduce the MTBF and downtimes, increase MTTF and driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) while ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Contribute to and identify new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Maintenance activities. Work with fellow Plant Leaders to schedule both internal and external work to minimize downtime. Insure the correct routine calibration of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The Person Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required; master’s degree or relevant asset reliability management certifications preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, with at least 5 years in a management role. Demonstrated expertise in asset reliability, CMMS implementation, and data-driven maintenance. Strong leadership, mentoring, and change management skills. Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Demonstrated understanding and application of leadership and management skills. Demonstrated competence in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making. Excellent interpersonal skills to support interactions with cross-functional team members within and outside the organization.
