Supervise day-to-day facility operations for HVAC, boilers, compressed air, utilities (gas, water, electric), wastewater, fire, and elevator systems Plan, assign, and verify preventive maintenance (PM) and work orders Perform and oversee basic welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG or stick) for brackets, piping, and minor structural work Troubleshoot electrical systems, including 3-phase motors, VFDs, control panels, and sensors; coordinate with licensed electricians for complex repairs Manage boiler and compressor operations including service records, inspections, emissions, and greenhouse gas reports Oversee wastewater monitoring, sludge hauling, and required sampling; maintain and submit test results to IEUA Ensure fire/life-safety systems (sprinklers, alarms, pre-action, and fire pumps) are inspected and compliant with local/state codes Manage elevator inspections and maintenance for passenger and freight units Serve as primary contact for environmental and regulatory agencies (AQMD, IEUA, City of Rancho Cucamonga); prepare and file required reports Supervise outside contractors, verify completion of work, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards Source parts, request quotes, issue purchase orders, and process invoices with Accounting Manage vendors for boilers, generators, electrical, and pipe repair Support Engineering Manager in department operations and share technical/mechanical expertise with operators Maintain clean and safe work environments, proper chemical storage, and adherence to LOTO/NFPA 70E practices
