About The Position

Lead technicians and engage them in troubleshooting equipment. Fix equipment according to the OEM’s standards. Work with the Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations Departments to effectively schedule, plan, and execute all P.M. activities, changeovers, and outages. Provide technical training to all mechanical maintenance personnel over the assigned section of the plant maintenance. Provide feedback to technicians based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians. Give technical solutions and suggestions, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement. Initiate and carry out projects that improve the Plant KPIs such as efficiency and/or reduce operating costs. Implement and lead continuous improvement process and 5S to improve equipment reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or a Maintenance Engineer-related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience with: CNC machines troubleshooting skills.
  • Troubleshooting on Hydraulic and pneumatic systems on CNC pipe manufacturing equipment.
  • Creating documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure, and equipment manuals as well as electrical and/or mechanical schematic drawings.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hydro tester & Beveling process.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic blueprints and components.
  • Maintenance planning and Lean maintenance management.
  • CMMS systems, such as SAP and Microsoft AX.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing specialized CNC machines to produce special custom-made pipe threads.
  • Understanding feed and speed requirements for specialized carbide inserts and fixing the issues faced by the operation department.
