About The Position

Located on a beautiful campus in Bloomington , our facility provides exceptional senior care and a strong sense of community. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our diverse and compassionate team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventative and restorative maintenance on a variety of systems and equipment throughout the facility. You will ensure the continued operation and safety of all mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and contribute to a comfortable and secure environment for our residents and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of building/plant engineering or maintenance experience .
  • Valid MN Driver's License required.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC controls, electrical/plumbing systems, and industrial kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and large mechanical equipment.
  • Commitment to working in a resident-centered environment with a focus on safety.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC certificate or degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
  • Complete assigned repair requests (e.g., beds, wheelchairs, light fixtures, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
