Maintenance Engineer
About The Position

What you will be doing The Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to customers and employees. The Engineer performs diagnosis, preventive maintenance and repair of building mechanical systems. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems and basicputer skills a must. 2 years trade experience and/orpletion of trade school. The Engineer will assist the front office with delivering guest requests. This person will also be required to assist with security in the building - this includes but is not limited to walking the perimeter, assisting with the fire panel, ensuring entrances are locked, etc. Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards. Requirements
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to effectivelymunicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems and basicputer skills a must
