About The Position
This is a flexible hourly position at our award-winning Holiday Inn Express Orlando, Florida. This is a full-time position. BASIC PURPOSE: Perform basic duties of engineering, repair and maintenance as directed by Supervisor and other hotel staff in guestrooms and all other hotel areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager as needed.
- Perform work orders; monitor progress and results.
- Perform special projects.
- Perform and report on the energy conservation program.
- Work on all life/safety systems including fire, elevators, disasters and emergency lighting and generating systems.
- Maintain all motors and control circuits.
- Arrange for proper trash removal and recycling.
- Purchase equipment and supplies. Maintain pars.
- Maintain audio system within the hotel.
