About The Position

Job Summary: Provides repairs, maintenance, and construction services to ensure that the environment of the hospital and its clinics are safe, comfortable, and functional.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• May be necessary to have one of the following licenses: EPA Universal License, FCC General Class License, or Contractor License - if hired for a skill for which a license is required.
• Three years as a Journeyman craftsman in building trades or as a mechanic.
• Knowledge and skill at a Journeyman level in one or more building crafts- electrical, plumbing, a/c, refrigeration, carpentry, controls, painting/finishing, etc.
• Knowledge in some areas may be preferred over others, based on needs of department/hospital.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree
• Five years’ experience as a Journeyman craftsman in building trades.
• Journeyman dill in craft needed plus general skills in other crafts.
