As our Maintenance Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the processing facility. You will ensure safe and efficient operation of systems, automation controls, and other electrical components to support production and facility operations. Hey, wheat’s up? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, schematics, power controls, instrumentation, and automation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • SAP or ERP maintenance system knowledge.
  • Meet state/province/territory licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or associate degree in electrical or industrial maintenance.
  • AutoCAD and SAP experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with electrical maintenance for burners and/or ovens.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems (66KV, 13.2KV, 480V).
  • Install, calibrate, and test electrical infrastructure and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, HVAC systems, robots, and automation controls.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and document findings.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and quality protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with management and operators.
