Requirements
- Possession of a Nebraska Journeyman Electrical license OR Electrical Contractor license or eligibility to become licensed in Nebraska.
- Per the Nebraska State Electrical Act (Neb. Rev. Statutes 81-2101-81-2143), a current Electrical Contractor license is required to obtain electrical permits, and a current Journeyman Electrical license is required to perform electrical installation.
- Driving is required for this position. As such, the incumbent must be able to provide a valid driver's license.
- Regular and Reliable attendance is required.
- Skill in: the use of hand tools, power tools and building maintenance equipment; basic office and computer skills including competency in the use of email, building system applications; the operation and preservation of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Use of basic grounds keeping equipment.

- Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Contractor. Apprentice can be accepted with the understanding that they would have to complete the license within 1 year)
Responsibilities
- This position performs a variety of tasks including basic facility maintenance including skilled electrical work,construction, installation, alteration, fabrication, maintenance, and repair work in one or more building trades and/or equipment maintenance activities.
- The Electrician works individually or as a member of a work crew, exercising a substantial degree of independence in planning and organizing their own work and performs related work as assigned.
