With more than 34,000 employees, the company generated sales of CHF 11.76 billion in 2024. Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to wiring, conduit and electronic control systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of machinery within buildings whether mechanical or electrical or PLC controlled. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment such as Voltmeter, Ohmmeter, and Megohmmeter. Troubleshoot PLC Controlled Equipment with knowledge of AC Motor Controls, DC Motors and Controls, Variable Frequency Drives, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Controls from wiring diagrams and schematic drawings. Work independently completing work in a timely fashion while being thorough enough to complete work orders and maintenance logbooks. Perform all duties while maintaining high quality with everyday thoughts for Environment, Health and safety. Layout, install, and maintain a variety of industrial process equipment and plant infrastructure. Make repairs involving disassembling units and replacing/troubleshooting electrical control circuits. Make diagnoses to replace or repair parts and adjust. Inspect machinery to ensure proper operation. Perform all other skills required of other specialists. Salary Range: $29 - $35 an hour based on education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.

Requirements

  • Ability to design and install electronic control circuits.
  • Understands national electrical code and safety lock out/tag out procedures.
  • Experience in running EMT, Rigid conduit, threading and bending EMT form 1/2" to 2”, (kicks, saddles, 90’s, offsets, etc.).
  • Experience with repair, installation, replacement, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment, with an extensive understanding of electrical networking and control systems.
  • Ability to plan and perform unusual and difficult work where only general methods are available.
  • Moderate physical effort; frequently moving lightweight material in difficult work positions.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical logic.
  • Ability to perform general air conditioning service work.
  • Able and willing to attend school/seminars of specialized trade.
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Understand PLC controlled production lines
