About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Electrician 1 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Day Shift: M-Th, 5:30am - 3:30pm

Requirements

  • No previous experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Valid electrician’s license or certification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, control systems, and PLCs.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in an industrial environment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering team members to support overall plant operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior electricians and other team members.
