About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Electrician 1 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Day Shift: M-Th, 5:30am - 3:30pm

Requirements

No previous experience required
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
Valid electrician’s license or certification.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, control systems, and PLCs.
Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in an industrial environment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering team members to support overall plant operations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Provide technical support and training to junior electricians and other team members.
