About The Position

This is an opportunity for a safety-conscious individual to utilize their electrical and organizational skills. This position requires an individual who can work with minimal instruction and is self-motivated. DESCRIPTION: Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and related sub-systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using test instruments and diagnostic tools. Remove and replace defective parts using appropriate tools, hoists, or cranes. Adjust, calibrate, and maintain control instruments and mechanical components for optimal performance. Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and clear communication with production teams. Provide technical support and collaborate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards.

Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of electrical systems, including 120V, 208/240V, and 480V 3-phase power.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot using wiring schematics.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair machinery or mechanical equipment and make sound decisions on how to repair.
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with proven troubleshooting and repair ability.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HMIs, VFDs, Vision Systems, Welding, and Press Brake equipment strongly preferred.
  • Welding equipment and bridge crane maintenance experience are a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMMS or other preventive maintenance programs preferred.
