About The Position

Pomeroy Living is looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to lead facilities operations at our senior living community in Sterling Heights Michigan . This is not an entry level maintenance role. We are looking for someone who has Director or Department Head experience and knows how to run a building, lead a team, and keep everything operating safely and efficiently. Requirements

• Previous Maintenance Director or Facilities Director experience is required
• Minimum 2 years facilities or building maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems
• Proven leadership experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or large residential buildings preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety and equipment
• Run preventative maintenance programs and keep the building survey ready
• Manage vendors, contractors and building projects
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulatory standards
• Respond to maintenance issues and emergencies when needed
• Manage department budgets and control maintenance costs
