Maintenance Director
About The Position
The Maintenance Director at Reflections in Lancaster, OH, is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the Community's safety program and maintaining a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations. A key aspect of the role is sustaining a preventative maintenance program for all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. The director is also tasked with hiring, training, scheduling, and leading the maintenance team, engaging with residents, and conducting fire and disaster education and drills.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire

Responsibilities
- Oversees Community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations
- Sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the maintenance team in providing exceptional services
- Mechanically repair, replace, and/or install minor equipment, hardware, and controls
- Maintain water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, kitchen equipment and associated equipment
- Maintain community plumbing systems
- Completes all maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently
- Conducts inventory on chemical supplies and complies with proper storage and usage procedures
- Implements safety protocols and procedures to avert incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements
- Performs exterior maintenance duties as necessary
- Delivers fire and disaster education and performs preparation and drill activities with residents and team members
- Engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
