About The Position

We are currently looking for a dedicated and dependable professional to join our team at one of our managed properties in Tampa, FL as a Maintenance Custodian. Join Associa as a Maintenance Custodian and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our managed properties. We are seeking a reliable individual with a passion for ensuring a safe and well-maintained living environment for our residents. Maintenance Custodians are responsible for keeping buildings and grounds clean by picking up debris, sweeping, and mopping, as well as cleaning bathrooms and maintaining necessary supplies fully stocked. Maintenance custodians also complete several other functions, such as cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting and emptying out trash.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)
• Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements
• Knowledge of equipment associated with custodial trades
• Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level
• Professional customer service skills
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 0-3 years of directly related or closely related experience

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned areas including furniture, telephones, fixtures, walls, windows, windowsills, blinds, and vents
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all area floors, rest rooms and break areas
• Clean rest room facilities and replenish supplies
• Perform general cleaning, light floor care and special event set ups
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables
• Other duties as assigned
