The Maintenance Coordinator develops and maintains preventative maintenance programs, inspects and repairs buildings and equipment, and completes required work. Provides documentation for all work needed, completed and estimated, and assists in the management of student-employees and completion of assigned maintenance tasks. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least five years of experience involving facilit y maintenance and repair or a related area
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Su ites
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to maintain preventative maintenance software and records
  • Ability to complete maintenance and preventative maintenance in a timely fashion

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with preventative maintenance regarding recreation facilities
  • Experience managing an outdoor athletic complex , including turf management
  • Experience with and knowledge of small engines, including zero lawn mowers
