About The Position

The Maintenance Coordinator will be tasked with various duties including but not limited to writing work orders based on diagnosis/inspection, administrative duties, generating weekly/monthly PM reports, preparation of work orders for execution and root cause analysis of early failures. Also coordinating, planning, and directing material, equipment, and resources for work requests and initiatives to support the repair, replacement, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure systems in CMMS program. Provide advanced technical and administrative oversight and coordination for manufacturing operations in support of preventive/corrective maintenance and replacement projects. Develop work packages in a computerized maintenance management system to include job-specific work scope, task breakdowns, material, and equipment required to perform work plan; develop job packages with all technical drawings needed for execution of maintenance personnel. Analyze moderately complex data in relation to work requests received, identify issues and plan projects to solve problems and implement solutions for facility and reliability maintenance; ensure compliance with all applicable ES&H requirements are met. Review work requests for possible work planning overlaps and efficient groupings of applicable work packages. Assist in training the Operation/Maintenance teams on how equipment works, be a resource for training or instruction. Work closely with team members to troubleshoot production/equipment issues. Manage projects and repairs making sure we get the best value for our money. Investigate and improve storeroom cost when applicable. Save money on spares by looking at other venders. Support the Repair and Maintenance Budget. Help develop long-term reliability and asset strategies. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, performance leader, maintenance team members, and department leaders on critical equipment strategies. Quotation and procurement of maintenance materials, parts and contract services Spare parts management, inventorying and control of goods movement within the maintenance department Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Four (4) to Six (6) years of related work experience.
  • Microsoft, Infor CMMS program, Maximo CMMS program
