About The Position

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and the efficient operation of facility equipment and infrastructure. This role oversees the implementation and the scheduling and coordination of preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in safety coordination and/or facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
Working knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to lead safety meetings and conduct employee training
Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders regularly.
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Comfortable working in a variety of environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold, noisy).
Self-directed and works independently

Nice To Haves

OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
First Aid/CPR, NFPA, or other relevant certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule regular preventive maintenance for facility equipment, machinery, and systems.
Oversee work orders, ensure timely and efficient repair of breakdowns or malfunctions.
Work with contractors, vendors, and technicians to complete maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment documentation.
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.
Ensure equipment and systems meet operational and safety standards.
