About The Position

Join us at our Blue Anchor Eggo facility as a Maintenance Coordinator, where you’ll play a critical role in coordinating daily maintenance activities, supporting plant operations, and ensuring our technicians have what they need to keep production running safely and efficiently. In this hands‑on leadership role, you’ll guide skilled mechanics, respond to real-time equipment issues, and support a culture focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. This positions starting hourly rate is $36.96 and operates on a 12‑hour A/B shift schedule within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.   At our facility, we offer an exciting opportunity for a maintenance professional who thrives on fast‑paced problem solving and enjoys being at the center of communication between maintenance, operations, and leadership. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Class “A” Mechanical qualification with strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience in industrial or food manufacturing maintenance, with strong understanding of PMs, changeovers, and equipment rebuilds.
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and instructions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in hot/cold environments, climb ladders, and safely access elevated work areas.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing day‑to‑day maintenance activities, assigning work orders, and ensuring technicians have the right tools, permits, and information to perform tasks safely and efficiently. You will be monitoring shift progress, adjusting plans dynamically, and ensuring alignment with production demands.
  • Supporting a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement by ensuring adherence to OSHA, GMP, and plant policies. You will be participating in Tier meetings and supporting communication between departments to improve workflow and reduce barriers.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for maintenance troubleshooting across manufacturing, utilities, and packaging operations.
  • Teaching, coaching, and mentoring mechanics while fostering strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Responding to unplanned equipment issues with urgency and coordinating rapid root‑cause troubleshooting efforts. You will be evaluating preventive maintenance execution and identifying opportunities to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and follow‑through on work orders, including corrective actions and preventive recommendations. You will help identify critical spare parts, supporting backlog management, and assisting the planner/scheduler as needed.
  • Leading equipment failure investigations and supporting FMEA efforts to strengthen long‑term reliability. You will be supporting process improvements, sanitation expectations, and proper changeover activities for optimal line performance.
