What You’ll Do Maintenance Controllers report directly to the Maintenance Control Manager. Coordinate and plan maintenance activities and provide technical support on their assigned shift. Coordinate en-route maintenance activities, conducted by Contract Agencies or Individuals on all in-service (aircraft not in Scheduled Maintenance) aircraft Ensure Contract Maintenance is properly briefed and understands the nature of the problem to be worked, as well as the USA Jet Policies and Procedures for Maintenance Activities. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with current FARs, the USA Jet General Maintenance Manual, or other Technical Data Acceptable to the Administrator. Provide Technical Assistance to all Maintenance Activities. Monitor all DMIs to ensure DMI Time Limits are not exceeded. Monitor, update, and verify aircraft status; report aircraft status changes as they occur to Flight Following. Responsible to actively participate in USA Jet Safety Programs and SMS. Required to report all safety concerns in a timely manner. Required to ensure that they and their co-workers are performing their functions in the safest possible manner. Required to follow the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration with legal authority at the location at which they are working. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
