About The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance / Construction Technician III. This position will function as a Plumber for Central Regional Hospital Butner Campus areas, Whitaker School and Camp Barham. The primary purpose of this position is to perform maintenance, modification, repair and installation of plumbing, utility steam, hot water, gas heating and cooling piping.

Requirements

• High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two (2) years of progressive experience in the assigned trade areas; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May require current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Type I, II, III or Universal technician as required by Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations Part 82, Subpart F.
• Valid Driver's License
• This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience demonstrating skills in at least two of the following areas: plumbing, steam pipe fitting, fabrication, heavy equipment operations and welding.
• Knowledge of the methods, practices, tools, and materials used in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment and machinery.
