About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW: Performs and repairs all plant, general maintenance, carpentry, painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, refrigeration, communication; maintains all hospital related equipment both plant and clinical; completes work orders and preventive maintenance work orders.

Requirements

• Minimum Stationary Engineer training
• 200 hours of formal schooling in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical
• Current state driver’s license

• 3 years of facility maintenance

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance requests as assigned throughout the facility including preventive, corrective, emergency, and project types of work orders.
• Evaluates routine and special repair requests in order to seek opportunities for improvement.
• Performs various special projects and physical plant improvements.
• Performs work on all scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Participates in the department QA process.
