About The Position
GENERAL OVERVIEW: Performs and repairs all plant, general maintenance, carpentry, painting, electrical repairs, plumbing, refrigeration, communication; maintains all hospital related equipment both plant and clinical; completes work orders and preventive maintenance work orders.
Requirements
- Minimum Stationary Engineer training
- 200 hours of formal schooling in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical
- Current state driver’s license

- 3 years of facility maintenance
Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance requests as assigned throughout the facility including preventive, corrective, emergency, and project types of work orders.
- Evaluates routine and special repair requests in order to seek opportunities for improvement.
- Performs various special projects and physical plant improvements.
- Performs work on all scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Participates in the department QA process.
