Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Five years of experience in building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry/construction, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience including the responsibility for assigning, reviewing and approving the work of other building maintenance workers.
  • Prior experience performing general maintenance repairs for a State or public facility/ building.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general maintenance repairs and services to maintain the building and grounds of the Public Safety Education and Training Center and ensure ongoing operations for all critical services.
  • General maintenance and repairs include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry/construction, landscaping, janitorial and other tasks as assigned.
