Maintenance Certified Tech: Under general supervision of the Director, uses the maintenance process to perform manual tasks to assist regular maintenance workers. Will assist with delivery of supplies, assembling equipment, and machinery dismantling, and any other task necessary to complete job. Under the direction of maintenance worker, operates equipment and follows common safety practices. Must maintain a clean and safe work area. At all times, work assignments will be determined by adjustment of workload, planned construction projects, and staff levels. Assignments to other duties are established by workload, construction projects, and staff levels which is reviewed on a day-to-day basis. As determined by the director, the Maintenance Certified Tech will be assigned up to 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30pm, with overtime as required. The is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures, and regulations for the department and organization. Will be responsible to assist with orientation, preceptorship, and management of personnel assigned to unit. Must be able to work and relate in a professional, non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors. Attendance to yearly mandatory education requirements is nonnegotiable and will be the responsibility of the employee to arrange and attend sessions
