Maintain equipment to keep it running smoothly, perform tests and calibrations, repair or replace components and troubleshoot equipment operational problems. Duties and Responsibilities Follow all plant safety rules and report any unsafe conditions immediately. Support Supervisor and Specialist. Installing wiring and conduit to assembling and troubleshooting circuits. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical motors and generators. Troubleshoot and repair camera systems, electronic sensors and robotic equipment, and programming programmable logic controllers used to operate complex machinery. Skills and Specifications Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and safe electrical practices. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical devices and control circuits. Ability to design and install electrical equipment in accordance with national electric code. Must be able to work (as required) with a PSM Process where Acrylonitrile is used. Employee will be properly trained, prior to accessing these areas per CFR 1910.1045 and CMA company training documents as determined by management. Education and Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience This position involves working with technologies and information which are subject to U.S. export control regulations.
