Requirements

Minimum 5 years of related experience in carpentry.
Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment common to the carpentry trade.
Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of historical preservation techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performing general maintenance work
Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to framing, installing fixtures, repairing structures, and finishing work.
Work on both interior and exterior projects, maintaining the property's historical integrity while meeting modern standards.
Collaborate with other maintenance and construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
Makes and repairs furniture such as Adirondack chairs and other furniture.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
