About The Position

Gordon Food Service is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. This role is crucial for keeping the organization's operations running smoothly and ensuring customer success. As a maintenance mechanic, you will be hands-on with various systems including building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, building maintenance, cranes, and hi-speed doors. The company maintains high standards for safety, stability, and training. They provide a clean, organized parts room and heavier specialty tools, expecting the mechanic to bring basic tools. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED certificate
Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training
Previous experience in forklift repair
Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
Successful passing of drug screen and background check
Able to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
