Job Description Essential Job Functions: · Cover the press line for all hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems. · Work on and make permanent improvements to all building, production and maintenance systems. · Complete appropriate documentation and logbooks. · Support and assist all work centers. · Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building, production and maintenance equipment. · Assist in setting molds and dies when necessary. · Keep machinery, equipment and plant structure in operating condition. · Maintain and install piping, fittings, valves, gauges, traps and all types of controls for high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems and steam and air lines. · If assigned second or third shift, complete die changes and project work. · Preventative maintenance, lubrication of various machinery. · Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. · Assist in shut down and start-up of the plant according to procedures. · Cover for vacations and illness on the shift and be able to work overtime on short notice. · Has responsibility for continuous improvement, corrective actions and quality of products. Qualifications and Requirements: · Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic and wiring print. Must be able to prioritize workload with other work centers. · Must possess a valid tow motor license. · May be required to work overtime with little or no notice. · May be required to rotate shifts when needed. · Must possess good oral and written communication skills. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. · Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle a wide variety and diversity of tasks.
