About The Position

Sonny's Place is a locally owned entertainment venue committed to providing safe, fun, and entertaining activities for families in Western New England. Since opening in 2008, it has continually invested in expanding its offerings, starting with a driving range and adding attractions like the Monkey Mayhem Miniature Golf Course and Bumper Boats. The Maintenance Associate will work under the Head of Maintenance, performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to the attractions, arcade games, buildings, and other equipment. This is a full-time seasonal position.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must be 16 years old.
  • Leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Repair mechanical rides, including but not limited to attractions, arcade games, and overall facility repairs, promptly.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, yearly overhaul processes, and repairs.
  • Ensure devices are maintained to the manufacturer's specifications and park standards while keeping all records in an organized fashion.
  • Assist in the evacuation of attractions while implementing the lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Meet daily with the Head of Maintenance and the Manager on Duty (MOD) to discuss any areas that require maintenance.
  • Respond to all radio calls promptly, upholding a high standard of care while communicating with guests and team members.
  • Practice safe work habits.
  • Assist in event setup.
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
