Position Summary The Maintenance Worker at Lone Tree Retirement Community is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and attractive living environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role plays a key part in ensuring that Lone Tree Retirement Community remains a place residents are proud to call home.

Requirements

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, respectful attitude toward seniors
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in resident apartments and common areas throughout Lone Tree Retirement Community
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting
• Complete minor repairs such as painting, drywall, flooring, and fixture replacement
• Maintain outdoor areas including walkways, parking lots, and landscaping support as needed
• Assist with apartment turnovers to prepare units for new residents at Lone Tree Retirement Community
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and organized
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment at Lone Tree Retirement Community
• Support emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours situations when required
