Maintenance Assistant
About The Position
Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Part-time Maintenance Assistant at our Northfield MN Location. In this position, you will be asked to perform a variety of maintenance tasks Including Welding, Grinding, Machining and Fabrication. As well as Cleaning, Fitting, sanding and painting of equipment and assemblies. Shift Available Flexible, 1st shift preferred Pay $25.00 - $29.00 About Cardinal Glass Industries Cardinal Glass Industries is the market leader in the development of residential glass for windows and doors with more than 12,000 employees located at 48 manufacturing locations around the United States. Requirements
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units.
- Proficiency with basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in fabrication, welding and basic machining skills.
- Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows/Word/Excel.
Responsibilities
- Support projects and equipment implementation.
- Bring project Prototypes and assemblies to finished state.
- Weld and fabricate equipment as required.
- Maintain all work areas in clean organized fashion.
- Clean up after every shift and project.
- Other duties as assigned.
