Maintenance Assistant
About The Position
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of handyman and custodial duties for a prestigious establishment downtown. Location: Downtown San Antonio FLSA: Non-Exempt Grade/Level: Entry Travel Required: No Work Schedule: MF 8 to 5 Rate of Pay: $15 to $16 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspecting, fixing, and maintaining any assigned duties Change lights and ballasts Completing scheduled maintenance tasks in a timely manner Maintenance on outside water fountain Delivering excellent customer service Maintaining grounds by blowing leaves, clearing leaves, and gritting paths when necessary Heavy Lifting, clearing tenant apartments, business offices, organizing and moving furniture
Requirements
- 2-year minimum experience in maintenance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Adaptable to dual role of maintenance technician and custodial duties
