About The Position
Absolut Care of Allegany is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Help keep our residents’ home safe, comfortable, and running smoothly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Maintenance or facilities experience preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
- Reliable and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks
- Complete routine maintenance checks and respond to work orders
- Help maintain facility grounds and exterior areas
- Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance
- Follow safety and facility regulations
