About The Position

Grand Villa of Boynton Beach is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our esteemed Assisted Living facility. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents while working in a supportive and professional setting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or a related field
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • relevant certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the facility’s HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the safety and functionality of the building and its equipment
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, addressing issues efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
  • Assist with general facility upkeep, including cleaning, painting, and minor carpentry tasks
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times
