About The Position
Grand Villa of Boynton Beach is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our esteemed Assisted Living facility. Requirements
- Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or a related field
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- relevant certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the facility’s HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the safety and functionality of the building and its equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, addressing issues efficiently and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Assist with general facility upkeep, including cleaning, painting, and minor carpentry tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times
