Requirements

A passion for helping seniors
A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
Ability to work every other weekend
Ability to handle frequent lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and stretching.
Valid driver's license in the state employed
A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintaining physical appearance of the grounds and building as well as ensuring that the building is physically sound and safe
Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service
Maintains preventive maintenance schedules
Assists with ordering and maintaining proper inventory levels of maintenance supplies
May act as contact person for vendors performing maintenance jobs
