About The Position

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team! This role is essential to keeping our facility running smoothly and safely. Success in this position requires reliability, trustworthiness, and consistent attendance, along with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Requirements

• Has experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators
• Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance
• Communicates clearly and works well within a team
• Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach
• Can adapt to changing facility needs and priorities

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner
